Bring Stories to the Street

b“BRINGING STORIES TO THE STREET” creates two-way communication between business and newcomers:

Businesses had the opportunity to meet and mentor immigrant newcomers, increase cultural competency, develop arts-based multicultural-funded events that engaged the public and benefit from increased visibility in the community.

Immigrants increased understanding of business services in the community, received hands-on leadership opportunities and were encouraged to share their experiences, perspectives and knowledge with the business and immigrant communities.

Both businesses and immigrants benefited from free training and built capacity to become leaders in diversity in the Cowichan Region.
